When you produce preform, you will find some problems of the preform. Abut PET trouble shooting, how to solve it?
Wall thickness is not equal
It is because the mould quality is not good, the hole of the gate is not equal, and the injection pressure is high. When this problem happens, it can modify the mold, and increase the plastic temperature. It also need decrease pressure.
Preform surface is sunk.
It is because high plastic temperature and short injection time, short pressure holding time and short cooling time. To solve this problem can reduce plastic temperature, increase injection pressure, increase injection time and increase water pressure.
Preform has bubbles.
It is because the PET material is not dry. It needs dry the material and increase plastic temperature. What’s more, it needs decrease screw rolling speed.
