Dakumar Machinery has launched a new double shot injection machine, which is different from traditional double shot injection machine. We can offer you high quality China Double color injection machine, multi-material injection molding and over molding injection machines.
Double color or double color product becomes more and more popular in the market. To produce double color product or overmolding product, double shot injection machine is a must. Traditional double shot injection machine is very expensive and cost effective.
The new double material injection machine developed by injection can be used both as single shot injection machine and double color injection machine. You can get a double color injection machine by adding an additional injection unit to common injection machine. We will also add a program in the PLC to control the second injection unit. When you don’t need the second injection unit, you can use this machine as a common machine. And for the second injection unit, we have different option for you: you can choose a suitable injection unit according to the weight of second color. While the traditional double color injection machine, the injection capacity for each machine is fixed and you cannot choose the second one.

How to choose two shot injection machine? There are mainly two types of double shot or double color injection machine in the market. If you are looking multi-color injection machine or bi-injection molding machine Ningbo, Dakumar suggest you the new type two shot injection machine.
This type of two shot injection machine consists a main injection machine and a separate second injection unit. First you need to choose a suitable main injection machine according to your mold size and product weight. This injection machine is a common only with a special PLC can control two injection units. For example, for two cavity 100g cup mould with mold size around 550*400*400mm, Dakumar 268T injection machine will OK. Then we need to choose the second injection unit. For example, if the second material weight is around 60g, we suggest you DKM-080K injection unit with capacity 103g. With a DKM268 injection machine and second DKM-080K injection unit, you can produce 2 cavity two cup easily.

Learn to select a suitable injection machine is very important. Most experienced customer can choose the machine themselves. But for some customer who is green to injection moulding field, they would need injection machine manufacturer help them to select suitable molding machine.
There are some important factors which effect the injection machine select, such like mould, product, plastic raw material, moulding requirement, etc. So before you choose the machine, you should collect the follow information:
1)Mould dimension (width, height, thickness ), weight, special design such like oil cylinder, motor, etc.
2)Plastic raw material features and quantity( single material or multy material )
3)Injection finish product dimension (length, width, height, thickness) weight.
4)Moulding requirement, such as quality, and circle time.
According to the above information, you can select the machine in the follow ways.
1)Select the machine features and series according to the plastic raw material.
For example, there are thermoforming plastic and thermosetting plastic, single color, double color, multi-color, etc. They would need stable, close loop, high precision, high speed, high injection pressure injection machine.
2)Choose the machine tie bar distance according to the mould dimension.
3)Machine opening stroke select according to the mould height and product height.
4)Machine clamping force select according to the product and material.
5)Select the machine screw diameter according to the product weight and cavity number.
