PVC fitting injection molding is different than normal plastic part injection molding,there are some key points for PVC fitting injection molding.
PVC injection molding machine is needed. This kind of machine has the special treatment in the screw and barrel which allows the anti-corrosion during the production;
PVC raw material needs to be dried in advance;
Nozzle temperature must be strictly controlled, because PVC material is very sensitive to the temperature;
PVC fitting moulds mostly are cold runner, and the runner size and injection gate size must be reasonable, because PVC material MFI is very low;
Cooling time for PVC fitting injection molding should be reasonable and effective;
Air venting system for PVC fitting injection moulds must be good.
